How much would a 10th dog have to weigh for the average weight in part (a) to be 250 pounds? Explain how you determined your answer.

70, 51, 65,65, 40, 7,70,22, 45
The average is: 54.375
I don't want the answer i just want a hint or something or just the steps to find it.

250 lbs? with all those small dogs?
oh, well.
x + (sum of all the 9 weights) = 10*250
or
(x + 9*54.375)/10 = 250
