Can anyone help me with my homework its called Solving Systems by elimination... i was able to do a few but there they are

then subtract the equations to eliminate the variable
{7x-2y=37}
{4x+y=19}
multiplying the 2nd equation by -2 ... -8x - 2y = - 38
subtracting equations (to eliminate y) ... 7x - -8x = 37 - -38 ... 15x = 75
solve for x , then substitute back to find y
