I think CO2.
6CO2 + 6H2O ==> C6H12O6 + O2
The trees use CO2 to produce O2. So we cut the trees, the CO2 builds up since it isn't being used, and the oxygen levels PROBABLY decrease depending upon how much of it is being used elsewhere.
