SAT stands for scholastic aptitude test. It is used, along with GPA and perhaps other criteria to determine a student's readiness for college. It is a requirement for entrance into many colleges and universities in the U. S. You can get more information by Googling it. This is just my basic understanding of it and you should read on the web for detailed information. I never took a SAT test so I've never seen one.
