ohhhh, how can i tell who is a teacher an who is not, cuz sometimes i think someone is impersonating PsyDAG..
also who is teachers?
i know of these ones at least:
-oobleck (you)
-DrBob222
-PsyDAG (i think)
-Ms. Sue (but people saying she died??)
-Anonymous (but there is lots of people with that name so its hard to tell which one is who)

is mathhelper a teacher??
Answered by DrBob222
That "guy" appeared with my name for years, also, but doesn't now. Don't know why? Doesn't really matter. I THINK, but don't know, that the original idea was to let the student know that a name with the "guy" meant we weren't just a fly by night person answering and that we PROBABLY had the credentials to answer a question correctly. I say that with tongue in cheek because I have the credentials and still answer wrong sometimes. :-).

ooh, that makes sense....also, its not terrible to make mistakes..we all do. if you didn't make mistakes you wouldn't be human 😂

Add R_Scott, Bosnian, mathhelper, PsyDAG
Ms Sue passed away two or three years ago.
You're right. It's tough to know which anonymous is the teacher (physics) and which is a student with the moniker anonymous. It would be nice if s/he would use another name but this is a free country.
BTW, the other idea behind the use of "the guy image" was that our name could not be impersonated; however, I don't think that is true anymore because I've seen answers using my name that I didn't post.
