Use the function rule to complete the table
-10x+y=4
I was wondering what does the 4 do and why it is there.

The 4 is part of the rule; you need to find numbers x and y, such that -10x+y = 4

so, if x = -2 then
-10(-2)+y = 4
20+y = 4
y = -16
and so on for the other values of x
