The sun was setting in radiant reds and baby blues over the aquamarine water. Kira and Lily strolled along the beach, the sand beneath their feet now warmer than the breeze brushing by them. They tried to soak up as much as possible of the last evening of summer vacation before the sun dipped below the waves and they had to head home.
