Find the y- and x-intercepts for the equation. I have an idea what it might be, but want to be sure. I would appreciate the help! Thanks!
f(x) = - 3 - 7x

What is your idea about what it might be?
Writing it in the form
y = -7x -3 might make the answer more obvious.

No. They ask for two numbers, the slope and the y-intercept. You are writing doen pairs of numbers, like the coordinates of a point. The y-intercept is the y value where x = 0, where the plotted line crosses the y-axis. Its value is -3
The slope is -7
