                Rewrite the function to make it easy to graph using transformations of its parent function. Describe the graph.
_______
y= √25x-125 - 1
___
i got y=√x-5 - 1 but i dont know how to explain it. And then i have to fill these in:
The graph (stretches or shrinks) vertically by a factor of ___ and is translated ___ unit(s) to the (left or right) and ___ unit(s) (up or down)

    √(25x-125) - 1
5√(x-5) - 1
This is just y = √x
shifted right 5
stretched vertically by 5
shifted down 1
Looks like you need to review transformations
when you say
i got y=√x-5 - 1 but i dont know how to explain it.
that means either
(a) you are guessing
(b) you asked someone else for help, and they messed it up
(c) you cheated, and didn't even copy it right
