An airplane takes off at 10:00 AM and flies a straight path at 350 km/h until 1:00 PM. Its velocity then changes to 400km/h in the same direction until it lands at 3:30 PM. What is its average velocity for the entire flight?

distance = speed * time = 350*3 + 400*2.5 = 2050 km
avg speed = distance/time = 2050/5.5 = 372 km/hr
