In 2000, the population of a country was 70 million and growing at a rate of 1.9% per year. Assuming the percentage growth rate remains constant, how long until the country will have a population of 85 million ? I (round to the nearest tenth)

70 * 1.019^x = 85
1.019^x = 85/70
x = ln(85/70)/ln1.019 = 10.31 years
