in a flight of 600km an aircraft was slowed down due to bad weather. its average speed for the trip we reduced to 200km/hr and the time increased by 30 minutes. find the duration of the flight?

We already know that the total flight time was 6 hours.
Since the trip took 1200/200 = 6 hours, and distance = speed * time,
200(t + t + 1/2) = 1200
t = 2.75
So the first part took 2.75 hrs, and the 2nd part took 3.25 hrs
