To divide the function f(x) by (x^2-4x-12), we find that the quotient is Q(x) and the remainder is (x+6). If f(-2)=a and f(6)=b, what is the value of b/a?
(A)1 (B) 2 (C) 3 (D) 4

    f(x) = Q(x)(x+2)(x-6) + x+6
f(-2) = -2+6 = 4
f(6) = 6+6 = 12
b/a = 3

f(-2) = -2+6 = 4
f(6) = 6+6 = 12
b/a = 3
