1. 6x + 2y = 18
The x axis intercept is when y = 0, so x = 18/6 = 3
The y axis intercept is when x = 0, so y = 18/2 = 9
2. -3x + 4y = 24
The x axis intercept is when y = 0, so x = 24 / -3 = ???
The y axis intercept is when x = 0, so y = ?
The x axis intercept is when y = 0, so x = 18/6 = 3
The y axis intercept is when x = 0, so y = 18/2 = 9
2. -3x + 4y = 24
The x axis intercept is when y = 0, so x = 24 / -3 = ???
The y axis intercept is when x = 0, so y = ?

the intercept form for a line is
x/a + y/b = 1
so, if we have 6x + 2y = 18 and divide by 18, we have
x/3 + y/9 = 1
as shown above
similarly for #2.
