i need to find a peer reviewed journal article pertaining to my chosen behavior modification project, which is to start running regularly. the article should be at least 3 pages in length and must include empirical research.

Most peer-reviewed journals are not available online. Neither are most journals that deal with physical fitness are not peer-reviewed.
I searched "Psychology Today" and "jogging" together and got this list of references, some of which you may find useful.

While the magazine Psychology Today is not peer-reviewed to my knowledge, you may find links there to articles in peer-reviewed journals that cite empirical research.
