How much work would you put in to lift the diver 5 meters?
work = increase in potential energy = Force * distance in direction of force = m g h
force up = m g = 50 kg * 9.81 m/s^2
distance up = 5
so work in = 50 * 9.81 * 5 Joules = potential energy gained = 2452 Joules
