Raul is learning about fetal development, but is confused about the role mitosis plays in the fetus growing. In 3-5 sentences, explain what mitosis does in fetal development. Include how the same DNA is in EVERY cell, and how the fetus grows in size (10th grade Biology).

Mitosis is the reason the fetus grows. To do this, it doubles and splits chromosomes. By doing this, growth occurs.
