On a sunny day you are measuring the surface temperature on two adjacent playing fields, one with a wet surface and one with a dry surface. Which surface will have a higher temperature? Why?

The wet surface will be cooler because evaporation will remove heat from the surface (unless the relative humidity is nearly 100%)
