[Please help this is my last question and I'm very confused.]
The chemical equation for photosynthesis suggests that blowing on a glass of water placed in a sunbeam will produce glucose and oxygen. Compare the chemical equation to actual photosynthesis and explain why no reaction occurs. Explain your answer in 1–2 sentences

ANSWER: Lack of chlorophyll in the chemical equation results in no photosynthesis. Plants have chlorophyll, which is what completes the process.

Photosynthesis cannot occur if the chemical equation does not include chlorophyll. Chlorophyll, found in plants, is what brings the process to a close.
