You plant a tomato plant in your garden. It starts at 8 inches tall. After 1 week, it grows to 11 inches tall. After 2 weeks it is now 14 inches tall. After 3 weeks the plant is 17 inches tall.

(17-14)/1 = 3 in/ week
so
h = 3 * weeks + 8
after 56
h = 3*56 +8
