Question
Whats p for the rate law if I get this after calculating? 0.47 = 2^p
Answers
DrBob222
Take the log of both sides.
log 0.47 = log 2^p
log 0.47 = p*log 2
-0.327 = p*0.301
p = -0.327/0.301 = -1.09
log 0.47 = log 2^p
log 0.47 = p*log 2
-0.327 = p*0.301
p = -0.327/0.301 = -1.09

Is it possible to have negative exponent for rate law?
oobleck
clearly, it is.
2^-1 = 1/2
you can see why that is
2^-1 = 1/2
you can see why that is
