Solve the equation. Justify each step.
3x + 4 = 31
3(2x + 1) = 15
1/2(16x - 8) = 2(x + 16)
If you can help me solve this that would be great! :)

3x + 4 = 31
Subtract 4 from both sides, then divide both sides by 3.
3(2x + 1) = 15
6x + 3 = 15
Subtract 3 from both sides, then divide both sides by 6.
1/2(16x - 8) = 2(x + 16)
8x - 4 = 2x + 32
See if you can take it from here.
