For the function f(x) = x2 − 2, identify the values of f(0), f(1/2), and f(−1).

kinda stuck here, help is very appreciated.

I assume you mean:
f(x) = x^2 − 2
If x = 0 then f(0) = 0 - 2 = -2
f(1/2) = (1/2)^2 - 2 = 1/4 - 2 = -1 3/4
f(-1) = (-1)^2 - 2 = 1-2 = -1
yep I think I ended up getting in not sure though

thanks though
