The largest fish in the tank at the base of the waterfall is 1^1/4 feet long. If the height of waterfall is 28 times the length of the largest fish and 7 times the height of the woman observing the fish at the base of the waterfall, how tall is the woman?

waterfall height = 28 * ( 1 + 1/4) = 28 + 7 = 35 ft
so
35 = 7 h
h = 5 feet tall
so
35 = 7 h
h = 5 feet tall

by the way I assume you mean 1 1/4 or 1.25
1^1/4 is 1 to the 1/4 power which is in fact 1 because 1*1*1*1 = 1
1^1/4 is 1 to the 1/4 power which is in fact 1 because 1*1*1*1 = 1

So, it's 28 * ( 1.2) = 35 + 7 = 42 ft
so, 42 = 7h
h = 6
or is it the answer you provided?

h = 6

Where did you get 1.2???
1 1/4 = 1.25
and
28 * ( 1.2) = 33.6 not 42
I have no idea what you are doing.
