according to the bering land bridge theory, how do scientists think people first arrived in north america

When the water was all tied up in glaciers people could walk across where the Bering Sea is between Alaska and Asia now. Thus it was possible for people to migrate from Siberia to Alaska without seagoing craft. Of course those folks had kayaks anyway :)
