Since colorblindness is an X-linked gene, it only occurs on X chromosomes. Let Xb indicate the colorblindness gene and Xn for normal vision.
The woman would be Xn Xn, and the man would be
Xb Y. Since the normal vision gene is dominant over colorblindness, the woman can be heterozygous (Xn Xb) and still have normal vision.
