Donna has 5 packs of candies. Each pack has 52 candies, and each
pack has different candy flavor. The flavors of candies in the different
packs are strawberry, caramel, chocolate, cherry, and coffee. Eighteen
of Donna’s friends came, and she gave each of them 2 candies of each
flavor. How many candies will she have left? Write the mathematical
expression that represents the problem and solve for it.

5*52 = 260 candies to start
18*2*5 = 180 handed out
candies left: 5*52 - 18*2*5 = _____
18*2*5 = 180 handed out
candies left: 5*52 - 18*2*5 = _____

post as many as trouble you. But it would be nice if you could show what you have tried in the way of coming up with a solution. Don't let all the words confuse you. As you can see with this one, when you strip away all the noise, it's really just a little bit of work that you have to do.
