                Hello, could anyone help me out with this question?
"The height of the tide on a given day can be modelled using the function h(t) = -3sin(t - 1) + 2. What is the minimum height of the tide?"
When graphing it on desmos, the minimum of this function is -1. But can the height really be a negative number?

    minimum = average - amplitude = 2 - 3 = -1
sure height can be negative, compared to sea level of zero.
