2/x +3/y =4
3/x +4/y =19
multiply #1by 4 and #2 by 3 and you get
8/x + 12/y = 16
9/x + 12/y = 57
now subtract to get
1/x = 41
so 1/y = -26
so the solution is
x = 1/41
y = -1/26
3/x +4/y =19
multiply #1by 4 and #2 by 3 and you get
8/x + 12/y = 16
9/x + 12/y = 57
now subtract to get
1/x = 41
so 1/y = -26
so the solution is
x = 1/41
y = -1/26
