A. 4^3 • 4^5 < 4^12
B. 5^2 • 5^3 > 5^5
C. 3^2 • 3^4 = 3^2
D. 5^2 • 5^4 = 5^8
For D, 5^2 x 5^4 = 5^6 and that isn't equal to 5^8 so the answer isn't D.

You just guessed at the answer of D. Why not work them out.
You add the exponents. So 5^2 x 5^4 = ?
For C it is 3^2 • 3^4 = 3^2 so 3^2 x 3^4 = 3^(2+4) = 3^6. Is that the same as 3^2? No. Now you do the other two.
