Question

K2CO3 + 2HC1 -------> H2O + CO2 + 2KC1 What would be the percent yield if you reacted 24.5G of K2CO3 and 100ml 3M of HCl and produced 10 g of CO2?

you start with
24.5/138.21 = 0.177 moles K2CO3
0.1L * 3moles/L = 0.3 moles HCl
The equation says you will use up the HCl first, and should expect 0.15 moles CO2.
So, how does that compare with what you actually got?
