Hi!

I have a Geometry worksheet I need to get done for tomorrow. It's a really easy thing, I guess...but I'm a bit stuck.

The measure of an angle is six more than twice the measure of its supplement. Find the measure of the angle.

A. 58
B. 62
C. 118
D. 122

It doesn't have a diagram or anything...what I did was:

m<A = 6(2m<B)

I didn't know how to go on from there so the I did this:

6(2m<B) = 180
12m<B = 180
m<B = 15

But 15 wasn't one of the answers. Can someone tell me how to solve this?

let the angle be xº
then its supplement is 180-x º

now translate "an angle is six more than twice the measure of its supplement" into Math

x = 2(180-x) + 6
x = 360 - 2x + 6
3x = 366
x = 122
