y = x^2 - 8 x ?
y + 16 = x^2 - 8 x + 16
(x-4)^2 = y + 16 = 4(1/4)(y+16)
vertex at (4,-16)
axis of symmetry is x = 4
latus rectum = 4 (1/4) = 1
y + 16 = x^2 - 8 x + 16
(x-4)^2 = y + 16 = 4(1/4)(y+16)
vertex at (4,-16)
axis of symmetry is x = 4
latus rectum = 4 (1/4) = 1
