Joshua has 3 yards of ribbon. He needs 14 yard to make 1 bow. How many bows can Joshua make?

If he only has 3 yards, there is no way he can make a 14 yard bow.

I think that's 1/4 yard. Funny how many people cannot manage to type fractions.

Anyway, if each bow takes 1/4 yard, then that's 4 bows per yard, right?
