A rectangular field measures 15m by 20 m. An rectangular area is to fenced off reducing each dimension by the same amount. The new fenced off area will be exactly ONE HALF the original area. What are the dimensions of the fenced off area?

If each dimension is reduced by x, then
(15-x)(20-x) = 15*20/2
Now solve for x and finish it off.
