One person gets a chain email that tells them they need to email 7 people in the next hour to prevent something bad happening to them. If each of those 7 people email 7 more people in another hour, and this trend repeats, how many people will have been emailed by the 4th hour?

1 + 7 + 7^2 + 7^3 = (7^4 - 1)/6
