#1. Just try the rules till you find the one that fits!
#2. look for a common difference or ratio. Here, -12/-2 = 6, and the other terms are produced if you just keep multiplying by 6.
#3. Just keep adding 5. The 8th term is just 28 + 7*5 = 28+35 = 63
#4. Again, look for a common ratio if you want a geometric sequence.
4/64 = 1/16
I guess you have a typo. 64,16,4,1, ... has a common factor of 1/4
