What is the lateral surface area of a rectangular prism? Length = 8 Width = 7 Height = 14 Is the correct answer 336? My staar chart tells me to do this formula: S = Ph I get a different answer??!?!?!

area of top = 8 * 7 = 56
area of one end = 14 * 7 = 98
area of one side = 14 * 8 = 112
sum = 266
to include the other side, the other end, and the bottom, double that

Oh sorry, lateral it said
take out the top and bottom
532 - 2(56) = 532 - 112
= 420

ends 2 * 8 * 7 = 112
sidesc2 * 8 * 14 = 224
sum = 336
