The diameter is the longest chord of a circle. Diameter of a circle d = 2r, where r is the radius of the circle.

Ok, so you know the circle diagram on problem 7? Let us take that as an example. A chord is another word as saying one of those line segments. For example... C and O. or anything else. If you look at the lines C and B, you can call that lengthy line the diameter :D Since the diameter is a full line from C to B, you could call the diameter line the same thing as a chord :)
