Question
A 15m crane supported at its lowest end by a pin is elevated by a horizontal cable. A 250N load is suspended from the outer end of the crane. The center of gravity of the crane is 5m from the pin, and the crane weighs 300 N. What is the tension in the horizontal cable?
Answers
I can not tell unless you give the angle of the crane. If the crane is almost horizontal, the tension is infinite.
