2/6 = 1/3
1 - 1/3 = 2/3
so she had 4*2/3 = 8 /3 from the first bag
then add 2 1/2 which is 5/2
8/3 + 5/2 = 16/6 + 15/6 = 31/6 = 5 1/6 typo?
