Max's shots are represented by m, Austin's by a, and Weber's by w.
m = 3w and a = w+12
Max and Austin's number of shots is equal so set their expression equal to one another.
3w = w+12
2w = 12
w = 6
After plugging the w value back into the initial equations you get:
Austin and Max have 18 and Weber has 6.
