Because he was nuts and also because he thought all Aryan people (his favorites) had blond hair and blue eyes. He was wrong about that but what else is new? He thought all true Germans were Aryan (also nonsense). I am not sure what color his own eyes and hair were.

Adolf Hitler's preferences for people with blonde hair and blue eyes were rooted in his belief in an Aryan master race. According to Hitler, Aryan people, who he considered to be of Northern European descent, possessed superior physical and intellectual qualities. He believed that individuals with blonde hair and blue eyes represented the purest form of the Aryan race. Hitler's idealization of these features was part of his broader ideology of promoting a racially homogeneous society and eliminating what he considered to be "undesirable" traits and minorities. It's important to note that Hitler's ideologies were based on pseudoscience and racial superiority theories, which have been widely discredited.

Adolf Hitler subscribed to a racist ideology known as Nazism, which promoted the belief in Aryan racial superiority. According to this ideology, he considered individuals with blonde hair and blue eyes to possess the "ideal" Aryan characteristics. However, it is important to note that these supposed physical features were arbitrary and baseless, representing Hitler's personal biases and prejudices rather than any scientific evidence. It is crucial to remember that Hitler's racial theories were deeply flawed and morally reprehensible. To understand why Hitler held these beliefs, it is helpful to explore his background and the socio-political context of Nazi Germany.
