So here a wrap up for broken chains. Broken chains is about a boy named Alfonso that thinks that fixing his teeth will make girls will like him and boys to admire him. The story is mainly made to show how to love and appreciate others. And making it feel like changing his looks is the only way for him to fix himself

Fish cheeks is similar it’s about a girl (the narrator) who thinks getting a nose job will make her look more American and looking more American will make the ministers son like her. It’s about how people should except other cultures too not just their own. And changing her looks she’s taking away her true self
