Calcute the heat required to rise the temperature 10kg of copper from 20°c to 30°c ( take c= 400j/kg/k)

400 Joules / kg degC * 10 kg * (30 -20) degC
= 40,000 Joules

note: a change of degrees C is the same as a change in degrees Kelvin. Only the zeros are different (very different like 273 degrees)
