Question

We are supposed to give a presentation of a certain author, we are supposed to talk about customary themes; but even though I have look it up I can't understand what it is, can you guys tell me?

This site has a good list of the common themes in literature. Whatever author you choose or have been assigned, you can bet he or she has used several or even many of these themes in his/her works.
