9 - 4 = 5
4 x 12 = 48
5 x 10 = 50
50 + 48 = 98
4 x 12 = 48

so if 4 shelves hold 12 each (that's 48 books) and five shelves can hold 10 (that's 50 books) add those and i believe thats it my man
