Julian wants to put a border around two sides of his rectangular shaped garden. He has a 12-foot piece of lumber that will be cut into 1/3-foot pieces. How many 1/3-foot pieces can Julian cut from the lumber?

well my dude, divide 12 into 3 numbers ( feel free to use calculator) then you get 4 so he can make 4 lumber pieces. good luck

there are 3/3 in a whole foot
so 12 ft * 3 = 36 pieces
so 12 ft * 3 = 36 pieces
