A chairlift descends from the mountain to pick up skiers at the bottom. After 2 minutes the chairlift is 4,000 ft in the air and after 4 minutes the chairlift is 2,500 ft in the air.

I need help turning this into a graph or a line. Can someone help me fing the Y intercept and the slope.

plot the two points on your graph paper.
You should probably label the y-axis in something like 500 ft/square
Plot the two points. Draw a line through them.
since y = 4000 - 750(x-2) the y-intercept is at 5500
