The price of a video game was reduced from $70.00 to $40.00. By what percentage was the price of the video game reduced? Justify your answer.
Would I divide 40/70? If so, I got 0.57, or 57%. Is that correct?

so the answer is 43%? And can you tell me how you got 43%

What he did to get 43% was divide 30 by 70, and then multiply the product by 100. That'll get you around 42.8/42.9, but 43 is close enough.
